We will be offering guided atlantic brant, scaup/diving duck, and sea duck hunts in Long Island NY. The rates are:
$300 per person. There is a two person minimum, three person maximum for all trips.
We do not combine parties, you will only be hunting with your party!
Up to 3 hunters. On these trips we will focus on hunting the Atlantic Brant. Depending on the tide and conditions we will either hunt from the 17 TDB Sea Class or from the marsh itself in a blind. Other birds typically encountered on these hunts are Canada Geese, Bufflehead, Mergansers, Black Ducks and more. Recommended gear is a 12 gauge shotgun with #2 or BB steel, waders, and warm camo.
Up to 3 hunters. We will be hunting from the 17 TDB over several dozen decoys, including multiple decoy rafts and longlines. Typically we encounter bluebill, bufflehead, black ducks, long tailed ducks (old squaw), mergansers, and more. Although waders are not required for these hunts they are recommended. Other gear to bring is a shotgun with #4, 3, or 2 steel and warm camo.
These hunts are limited to two hunters. We will be heading to the "big water" to target scoters, long tailed ducks, and eiders. These trips are highly weather dependent and as with ALL trips with final call to cancel a trip due to safety lies with the Captain/guide.
